Kuadra Privacy Policy

In one sentence: Kuadra keeps your finances on your phone and does not send them to any server of ours. There are no user accounts, we do not connect to your bank, and we do not sell your data.

This policy explains what Kuadra does with your information. It applies to the Kuadra app for Android, published by Towo Games. By using the app you accept what is described here.

1. Your financial data never leaves your phone

Everything you record in Kuadra — transactions, amounts, descriptions, accounts, categories, savings goals, loans and spending plans — is stored in a local database, inside the app's private storage on your device.

There is no user account and no sign-up. No Towo Games server receives that information, and Kuadra does not connect to your bank or to any financial institution.

If you uninstall the app, that data is deleted with it. You can also erase it at any time from Settings → Delete all data.

2. Permissions the app asks for, and why

All of them are optional unless you want to use the matching feature, and you can revoke them at any time in your Android settings.

Notifications	Reminders for pending transactions and budget alerts.	No. They are generated on the phone itself, not from a server.

3. Backups and export

Kuadra can export your data to a file (CSV, JSON, ZIP or PDF) whenever you ask it to. You choose where that file is saved and what you do with it; from then on it is outside our control. The ZIP includes attachments.

In addition, Android may include the app's data in the automatic backup tied to your Google account, as it does with other apps. That backup is managed by Google, not Towo Games, and you can turn it off in your device settings.

Cloud backup Coming soon

We are building an optional cloud backup. It is not available yet; this is described here in advance so you know what will happen when it ships.

When it arrives, it will work like this:

It will be optional: it does not turn itself on, you will have to enable it.
The backup will be stored in your own account: Google Drive on Android, iCloud on iOS. It will not be sent to Towo Games servers, which will still have no access to your financial data.
Because it lives in your personal account, that copy is subject to the terms and the security of Google or Apple, depending on the platform.
You will be able to turn it off and delete the backup from the app itself.

We will update this page, with its date, on the day the feature ships.

4. Third-party services

Kuadra uses Google services that do process some information:

Google Maps

If you choose to attach a location to a transaction, the Google Maps SDK is used to display the map. Google processes that request under its own privacy policy.

Firebase Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring

If the app crashes or runs slowly, a technical report is sent to Google: error type, device model, Android version and app version. Those reports do not contain your transactions or amounts. They exist to fix bugs.

Firebase Analytics

Collects aggregated usage statistics — which screens are opened, how often the app is used — to understand what works and what does not. It includes your device's advertising identifier. We do not use that information to show you ads: Kuadra has no advertising.

5. What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties.
We do not show advertising inside the app.
We do not ask for your name, your email or any identity data.
We do not access your bank accounts or your cards.
We do not read your photos or your location except when you ask us to, for a specific transaction.

6. Children

Kuadra is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Your rights

Because your financial data lives only on your device, control is yours and direct: you can review it, export it or delete it from the app itself, without asking us.

Regarding the diagnostic and statistics data processed by Google, you can write to us and we will tell you how to exercise your rights of access, rectification or erasure.

8. Changes to this policy

If what the app does with your data changes, we will update this page and the date above. We recommend reviewing it from time to time.
