Kuadra Terms and Conditions

The essentials: Kuadra is a tool for keeping your own books. It is not financial advice, and because your data lives only on your phone, backing it up is your responsibility.

These terms govern the use of the Kuadra app for Android, published by Towo Games. By installing or using it, you accept what follows. If you do not agree, uninstall it.

1. What Kuadra is

Kuadra is a personal finance app that runs on your device: you record income and expenses, organise them by account and category, set a monthly budget and track savings goals and loans.

The app is free and does not require creating an account.

2. It is not financial advice

Kuadra displays, adds up and projects the figures you enter. Projections, averages and budget alerts are automatic calculations over your own data, not investment, credit or spending recommendations. The decisions you make with that information are yours. For financial advice, consult a professional.

3. Your data is your responsibility

As explained in the Privacy Policy, everything you record is stored only on your device. This has an important consequence worth understanding:

If you lose your phone, it breaks or you reset it, you lose the data unless you have a backup.
If you uninstall the app, its data is deleted with it.
Towo Games cannot recover your information: we hold no copy, because it never leaves your phone.

Use the app's export feature to make backups regularly and keep them somewhere safe.

An optional cloud backup — Google Drive on Android, iCloud on iOS — is planned and described in the Privacy Policy. It is not available yet, and when it is, the copy will still live in your personal account: Towo Games is not responsible for the availability or the retention of data held by Google or Apple.

4. Accuracy of the information

The app works with the data you enter. Mistyped amounts, forgotten transactions or miscategorised entries produce wrong results. Check your figures before making decisions based on them.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Decompile, modify or create derivative works of the app, except as the law permits.
Redistribute or sell it.
Use it for unlawful activities.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its name, its design and its code belong to Towo Games. The content you enter is yours: we claim no rights over your financial data.

7. Third-party services

Kuadra uses Google services (Maps, Firebase) described in the Privacy Policy. Those services have their own terms, and Towo Games is not responsible for their availability or their operation.

8. Warranties and liability

Kuadra is provided "as is", with no warranty that it is free of errors or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Towo Games is not liable for damages arising from the use of the app, including loss of data or financial decisions made from what it displays.

None of the above limits rights the law grants you as a consumer that cannot be excluded by contract.

9. Changes to the app and to these terms

We may update the app, change features or stop maintaining it. We may also modify these terms; the version in force is always the one published on this page, with its date.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, without prejudice to the consumer protection rules of the country where you reside.
